Optimizing My Mysterious Domain |

One of my domains get's a decent amount of type-in-traffic. I'm not talking about hundreds of clicks a day, but it's still making me curios. The domain is OneDayTraffic.com - now I am not really sure what these people are looking for. Two ideas come to my mind though: They are either looking for something that generates traffic for their websites - or they are looking for a driving school. (I got the second idea when I typed in "one day traffic") and the first thing that came up was a driving school called "one day traffic school". The CTR was pretty low, so I'd really like to optimize that site. So my guess is that they are looking for the driving school and I just optimized the website for 'traffic school'. I parked it with namedrive and set up a vehicle template, and used the keyword "traffic school" - so now traffic school ads show up. Till now it had a % 4.55 CTR since March 1st. Let's see if my guess was right - if it was, now that it's optimized for the keyword "traffic school" CTR should go up. I'll keep you posted. |

Four letter domain names are quite simply domains containing only four characters with each of these characters being a letter. Very recently, all four letter domain names in the popular dot com extension have been registered. This leads to some interesting observations and opportunities. |

I bet nine times out of ten its not the Domain Name, its the advertisement, once you like what you see on a site then you remember the Domain. It always amazes me how some Domain Name are worth so much money why? Not because the name is worth anything its because some people have more money than sense so don't get rapped up in the hype, because if you buy a $10 domain that's exactly what is worth $10,if you buy a Domain for $1000 its still only worth $10 the only reason people pay so much for a Domain is because they are trying to get ahead of the game by using an already well known name, and that's fair enough, but it doesn't always work, its no good having a fantastic Domain Name and a crappy website. |
